I can’t believe I haven’t mentioned this yet, but on the 26th of September is Sephora opening their 2nd location in Denmark! After their succesful opening of their shop-in-shop inside of Illum, their 2nd shop will open inside Field’s Shoppingcenterr.
I’m not a big fan (actually not at all) of shopping center’s in Europe, in general I find them depressing and more a hang-out for teenagers with a curfew but the fact that Sephora is opening there definitely makes it tripworthy for me! And who knows, the biggest mall in Scandinavia might even become a new hot-spot for me! Field’s Shoppingcenter is located 10 minutes from Kongens Nytorv (city center) and all y’all have to do is take the metro towards Vestamager and get off at Ørestad station, which is right by Field’s main entrance.
The new shop will be 300 m2 and will sell brands like Make Up For Ever, Benefit, Dr. Brandt Skincare, Nails Inc., and Sampar. Can I hear a WHOOP WHOOP for that?! I’m really anticipating for the moment when new brand will be released to the Scandinavian market such as Too Faced, Urban Decay and Cargo..
So a couple of weeks ago, I wrote how I hit pan on my favorite blush. So after weeks of looking at it’s beauty in full glory at Sephora and doubting whether or not to buy it (since it was 40 euro/200 dkk), I finally rebought it again when I was in the Netherlands.
Sensai’s Cheek Blush (CH05 SOHI) honestly has been one of my holy grails for years. It has just the perfect level of pigmentation, it doesn’t move during the day and most important to me it doesn’t stripes or stains. Especially in the Summer, when my skin tends to be a bit more oily I find it important that a sudden kiss by the boyfriend (which are more than welcome) doesn’t leaves a “hole” in my blushed cheek. So with buying this blush, I didn’t only make myself happy – I made the boyfriend happy (this is as much of an argument as saying “it is an investment in myself”).
Typical Dutch food doesn’t really differ that much from Danish food: heaps of (mashed) potatoes and gravy are the common denominator. Besides that Dutch food primarily is really unhealthy, most of it is pretty much deep-fried to death..
BUT, Dutch haring is the exception! It is nothing compared to the sour Danish haring (which I dooooon’t really like), we eat the haring raw with onions and you DEFINITELY have to try one if you ever hit Dutch land!!!
This is, by the way, the dinner my sister and I ate after our running experience last Wednesday. Nothing beats fresh seafood!!
A couple of days ago I wrote about zalando.dk! finally delivering to Denmark! Best thing about Zalando?! Delivery and return is for free, so now you can order that small AND medium if you’re not sure about your size without having to spend the return fee!
I have a nice discount code for y’all!! Just enter the next code when you place an order, so you’ll get a 10% discounts on orders over 375 kr.
