Family Visit

Last week there was a family invasion for us in Copenhagen, my parents dropped by for 1,5 day and when they left my sister and brother-from-another-mother visited for some days too!

Copenhagen is a great city to show, in my opinion, when the sun is shining there so many cool places to walk by. The little mermaid, nyhavn, strøget, christiania.. And I haven’t even showed them everything! So a good reason for them to come back soon 😀 I only took some pictures when my parents where here, we had lunch at the royal cafe and just walked around a bit. It was the first time my family travelled to Denmark and I was really happy to show them where I live now!

I’m heading to Malmö (Sweden) for a short get-away with the boyfriend, if you have any recommendations let me know. Have a great weekend!

With love,

hope your parents had a nice time. it’s always fun to show off your new city to loved ones.

i went on a daytrip to malmö this summer and we visited a really cute restaurant about 30 mins outside of the city. its called Bjerreds Saltsjöbad (

Aw, Copenhagen, my other half <3 Great photos! I am always there for such a short time and spend most of the time visiting family, I don't have much time to really go around and just… "feel" the place? I must the next time! I hope to stay very long the next and really see the city. (I think I saw more of it as a child but obviously I forgot everything!) 😛

You definitely should! When is Copenhagen on your planning? It might be quite interesting to see the beauty differences with CPH and SG.. But I understand what you mean, before living in Singapore I always felt like that too and I still feel like that with Hong Kong (where my mom’s from). When visiting family you never really see the city as a “tourist” and experience everything!

Yeah! I miss DK a lot and want to explore more… CPH is an amazing city. I hope to go there next year for Spring or Summer but it’s very expensive so I’ll have to see. :(
