Last weekend the boyfriend and I decided to finally make use of our new car (ehem, his car..), so last Friday we drove to Hamburg, Germany. From Copenhagen it was a 4,5 hours drive, which I (to be honest) primarily experienced while sleeping.. We arrived Friday night at the Design Hotel affiliated 25hours Hotel Hafencity Hamburg.
The hotel has a maritime theme, so a lot of rawness and industrial fabrics. The coolest thing about the hotel was all their extra features: they transferred their smoking room into a vinyl room, I don’t even smoke but the idea of being able to smoke and listen to some LPs definitely made it more attractive (haha, I kid – the vinyl is enough). They also had a sauna on their roof terrace, with a great view over the harbour. Best of all, their breakfast buffet was actually pretty amazing!!! The rooms are also pretty affordable, with night rates starting from 105 euro – and you even get a 15% discount up till 25 years old!
